Longitudinal guide rollers were used on a temporary lift bridge for a historically preserved bridge.
A system of Hilman Rollers were used as a guidance mechanism on the temporary lift bridge while the main span was being rehabilitated.
Built in the 1920's, the bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1976 it was recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the most significant bridges in Florida, and in 1997 it was placed on the National Trust for Historic Preservation's list of America's 11 Most Endangered Historic Structures.
